How do I learn?

If you're interested in learning how to meditate, you should talk to someone or some people who've already made that step. We have three options to help you do this.

Firstly, we run regular FREE Open Evenings where you can hear somebody give a brief talk on meditation and chat with other people who have been meditating for a period of time. It's a sure way to find out if it's the right thing for you. Click here for dates and times.

The second option is an Introductory Course where you are introduced to meditation and consider the philosophy that underpins the School's approach to it with approximately 10 other people. The courses run over 4 weeks - normally on a Monday. Click here for further information.
If you can't make an Open Evening date or commit to the Introductory Course you can call the office and make an appointment to speak to someone one to one - our third option.
The office is open between 10:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.  020 7603 6116.

The School does not charge for passing on the meditation - it is free, but we suggest that a donation is made to help pay for the School's costs and that also reflects the worth of meditation and the individual’s appreciation of it.  The donation should be both generous and meaningful with an advised figure of £200. Cases of hardship can be discussed and no further payment is ever required for individual guidance, even if you cease contact and then decide to come back for guidance years later.

If you join a weekly group there is a fee of £50 per term to cover the cost of the meetings.
