Introductory Courses

The courses provide guidance on a simple and proven method of meditation, giving participants the experience of stillness and quiet, leading to full instruction in the practice. Open discussion is encouraged.

Courses take place over five weeks, starting at 7pm, with class times lasting approximately 90 minutes.

The cost of the course is £300. From then on, course attendees are offered lifelong support with their meditation at no further charge.

We are always happy to discuss alternative methods of payment with anybody who cannot pay the full amount upfront.

Open Door

Discover a deep, inner rest - an enduring part of the mind that is beyond our normal cares and worries.  

These guided meditation sessions are free, no previous experience is required.

In-person: Wednesdays at 11am, Fridays at 7pm

at 158 Holland Park Avenue, W11 4UH

Sessions last for around 45 minutes. Everyone is welcome, and no experience is necessary.  

No booking is required, please arrive five minutes early to avoid disturbing the session once in progress

Please note, there will be no meetings on 22, 27 and 29 December


 

Online: Tuesdays at 7pmThursdays at 11am and Saturdays at 11am. Sessions last for around 30 minutes.

Tai Chi

Weekly Tai Chi classes for members and the public will resume in Spring 2024

Saturdays 11am-12pm  

All welcome; no experience necessary; booking required (limit: 10 people) 

£ free/donation; loose clothing & flat shoes recommended. 

 

 

'What is Meditation?' Online Talk 6pm 18th December 2023

For anybody wishing to learn more about meditation.  Perhaps you are not sure what 'meditation' means; or are looking to establish or re-establish a daily practice? 

Or maybe you would like to hear about the tradition from which the School of Meditation derives its teaching?

These free online sessions provide an ideal overview of what meditation is, its fruits and how you can start on your own journey.

Personal Interview

If you already have a practice and would like to know more about the method of meditation and the School, or have decided that you would like to go ahead, please contact our staff:

Having been taught the practice you will have lifetime membership, and receive 1-2-1 guidance for as long and as often as you require. You will be invited to join a termly group for a small fee, along with being invited to events, retreats and being able to access three daily online meditation sessions.
